The World Between Worlds [Elsewhen] to Fandom Preserve [Saturday Morning]
Ahsoka ran.
Ezra beside her, Morai above her, blue flame and Palpatine's voice behind her, space that was and wasn't empty around her. Ahsoka ran.
Ahead she could see the path ahead splitting in two, and if not for the pain in her side and the danger they were in, she might have made a comment about that being something of an on the nose metaphor.
"Keep going," she told Ezra instead. "You can make it."
"When you get back, come and find me," he responded, as much an order as a request.
As paths diverged, Ahsoka called back "I will, I promise," not knowing just how long fulfilling that was going to take.
Trusting in the Force to guide her steps, she looked back over her shoulder to see how much the flames were gaining on her. Which turned out to be quite a lot. Putting on a burst of speed, she leapt through the portal, still not looking and rolled to a stop on the ground.
"The Force be with you, Ezra Bridger," she said softly as she stood.
Then she actually looked around.
This was not Malachor.
